I discovered this weekend that Miss La was under the impression the the words to Coom by yar were:
Coom by yar, my Lord, Cucumber

    Brilliant! But then again this morning I realised that the man in the song wasn't singing 'Peggy, Peggy Sue, put your lovin' hands out...' but actually he was singing 'Beggin', Beggin' you...'
