Party Contest, anyone?

This dreadful photo was taken a few weeks ago on a boat, not as glamerous as the one in Things to Do. So, how about a contest? Prize will be a gift certificate for Samhain, naturally, it would be lovely if the winner spent it on Things to Do, but, choice will be theirs!
I'll keep it simple, what cartoon character is mentioned in the blurb for Things to Do? email me at helen@nelldixon.com I'll draw a winner at 9 pm tonight GMT which is I think about 4pm EST
And I'll post another excerpt. Posted by Picasa

Here's another taster to tempt you into reading more!
“Oh, hell! Quick, get down!” Rob grabbed me and tried to push me down behind the dashboard of the car. He ducked next to me and tried to look inconspicuous.
“Who are we hiding from?” I hissed, my face squashed against my knees and the peak of my knit cap all bent up. I found traveling in a sports car with the top down did your hair no favors anyway and being shoved under the dash without warning definitely didn’t help.
“It’s Gilly. She’s seen us. She’s coming this way!”
I bit my tongue and didn’t point out that she would have to be blind to miss seeing a six-foot-two-inch male trying to hide in a roofless, low-slung, distinctive car like Rob’s in the middle of winter.
“Rob, darling!”
Calvin Klein’s Obsession perfume reached us a fraction of a second before she did. I sat upright, took off my cap and tried to act nonchalant.

"Things to Do" made me laugh out loud, which is a rare gem. It's the perfect blend of humor and adventure, with suspense and romance (not to mention sexual tension) thrown in. And orange Kit-Kats! Nell, you have a wonderful gift, and in this book, it really shines!

*hugs*

(P.S. - Nell, my friend from England has promised me Turkish Delight, LOL. He said he couldn't bring me orange Kit-Kats, but that yup, they were tasty...)

Congrats again on your official release! I'm so proud of ya!

just looked at orange kit kats on the hershey site. and they don't ship overseas. so i guess you'll have to come to the US sometime for your special edition sometime orange kitkats. Expensive trip to get some candy!

just realized, they have some pretty amazing discounts from London to NYC. so maybe it wouldn't be too expensive to come for the kit kats. I'll even meet you. consider it research!

I never knew orange kitkats could cause so much trouble! They do mint flavour too.

Batman, you snuck in quietly. Josh has a really great book called Lady Irina available from Moonlit romance. If you like historicals with an unusual background then check it out.
Guanna, it's never to late to see a friend!
