No snow show

Well, there was a tiny dusting of snow overnight, but only enough to resemble a very heavy frost. The forecast predictions seem to show it passing all around us but not on us. I guess we'll have to wait and see if it moves further into the midlands. It's flipping cold here though. The fluffy socks are out and the belles have ransacked the coat cupboard to dig out scarves and gloves. Everything suddenly feels very wintery and Christmassy.

YOu might not have had snow but we were dumped on about 6 inches. Very pretty but it took an age to dig out. Be grateful for small mercies..

There's no snow in London either, but it's flippin' cold. The good thing is that I don't need to brush my hair, because I can just jam on a hat!

We got our first flurries today here in Reggio. I wish we could get more, but it tends to be an "All or nothing" situation, snow-wise. I love the snow - we had a blizzard on our wedding day, and we walked through drifts nearly three feet deep to get to the town hall for the ceremony.

I took it as a good omen. ;-)

Love ya!
